Para Rowing

Para-rowing in Wales has had success at all levels of the sport. Welsh rower Benjamin Pritchard set a World Record at the Welsh Indoors in 2018. Benjamin also gained two Bronze medals at the International Para Rowing Regatta in Gavirate in 2019 and a European Championships silver medal in 2021.

We are able to support Para Athletes within all of our squads. Our coaching team are trained and experienced in coaching Para Athletes. Our facilities and boats are adaptable for Para needs.

We are always looking to enable those with a disability to access our sport, and how we can support para-rowers to make the steps towards GB vests. This video talks about John Prosser, Invictus medallist and para rower.

Benjamin Pritchard, PR1 World Record Holder from Swansea, is currently training for the Tokyo Paralympics, his story is here.
